Why it is faster

Other tools make you configure a chart. FastChart just draws it.

Competitors ask you to create a project, choose a chart, upload a CSV, map the X axis and then press Generate. In FastChart, Ctrl+V is the whole workflow.

About the tool

What is FastChart?

FastChart is a free online chart generator built around one idea: pasting data should be the entire workflow. Copy cells from Excel or Google Sheets, a CSV export, a JSON API response or a Markdown table, paste it into the FastChart editor, and the right chart renders in about a second. It works as a bar chart creator, a line graph generator and a histogram builder, and it covers 26 chart types in total — including pie, donut, scatter, radar, treemap, heatmap and sankey.

Unlike spreadsheet charts or heavyweight BI tools, FastChart never asks you to create an account, start a project or upload a file. Everything is parsed and rendered locally in your browser, so your data never leaves your device. When the chart looks right, export it as a high-resolution PNG, a vector SVG or a print-ready PDF — with no watermark and no daily limit. That is all FastChart does, which is exactly why it is fast.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about FastChart

Is FastChart really free?
Yes. Every FastChart chart type and every export format is free, with no account, no watermark and no daily limit.
Do I need to sign up or upload a file?
Neither. Paste your data into the FastChart editor — or drop a file onto it — and the chart renders locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
Which data formats can I paste?
CSV, TSV, Excel and Google Sheets cell ranges, JSON arrays and objects, Markdown tables, space-separated text, and plain single-column number lists.
How does the chart type get chosen automatically?
Simple deterministic rules, not AI. One numeric column becomes a histogram, two numeric columns become a scatter plot, date-like labels become a line graph, few categories with one value column become a pie chart, and several value columns across few rows become a radar chart. You can override the choice with one click.
What export options are available?
High-resolution 2x PNG, vector SVG, single-page PDF, transparent background, copy image to clipboard, and copy SVG source code.
Can I use the charts commercially?
Yes. The charts you create with FastChart are yours to use in reports, slides, articles and products without attribution.
